Happy Leap Day everyone!

Happy Leap Day!
I like this one!
Hello Yellow!

This dude looks scared! Poor guy.
A pelican must've spotted him.
Now that's cool

He's flexible...

I love how they're standing... they look so gangster
except that they're smiling... that kinda
ruins the affect
It's a bird! It's a plane! No... It's LEAP DAY FROG!

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with
Leap Day, but hey, it's an adorable Easter Bunny-Frog
Poison Dart frog? Maybe?

Average joe, green frog

It only comes once a year!

Remind me again. Is this a zebra? Or is
it a frog disguised as a zebra?
Close your eyes! Haha just kidding. Got some
major looovvvve goin' on here!
Happy Leap Day everyone again... Hope you enjoyed the pics of the froggies!
Love and sliminess,

Do you know anyone who was born on Leap Day? That would stink in my opinion, but yet at the same time it would be cool to have bragging rights........ ;)

Just Kidding! Thankfully :)

This is a screen shot of AGT's site... SO MUCH PRESSURE TAKEN OFF ME!

A little bit of everything!

After a jolly weekend of snow days, shopping, eating out, and seeing someone that part of you loves but the majority of you hates, at a Calvin vs. Hope basketball game, back to school I trudged this morning at 6:59 am. Yup, that's when I leave to get on the bus and get to school around 7:30 am. HALF HOUR BUS RIDE >:/ So anyway, I've been super busy. I've been writing two short stories that I have sent into magazines and working on my audition for AGT (America's Got Talent). Yes, I live in America. Yes, I am trying out for AGT! By the way, that reminds me.... the video auditions are dueTODAY! I have to do a video one because my parents wouldn't drive me down to St. Louis to audition on a school day. Anyway, wish me luck! I'm singing Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts, a beautiful song that I only have on problem with... it has almost no variation in range! Oh well, I'll try my best...

Also I've been entering a whole bunch of Hunger Games contests. I entered one put on by Barnes & Noble to win a trip to the Hunger Games Premiere on March 12 (the movie is out on March 23 but you can see the first showing on March 12!) but I didn't win :( Also I entered a contest to win a signed poster of Effie Trinket but I didn't win that either :( The past one I entered is to win a 4 person, all expense paid, trip to Los Angeles to go the Hunger Games Premeire and this ones even better than the B & N one because you get 4 tickets! Whereas at B & N you only get two tickets. Yay!

I finished The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater and highly recommend it aside from the brief, mild inappropriate parts and swearing. I'll blog on it later hopefully! I have a huge stack of books waiting for me and right now am in the middle of Crossed, sequel to Matched by Ally Condie and so far I like it pretty well. Also in my ever growing stack of books is Ever by Gail Carson Levine (she also wrote Fairest, and I actually own that it was so good), Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (wrote The Scorpio Races), Boys Without Names by Kashmira Sheth and Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Hush, Hush  is a book that I'm not quite sure about but I give books three strikes and after three they're out. Swearing, inappropriateness, and other things all count as strikes.

Happy Reading!

Peeta's Bread Army!

Hey guys! I was on the Hunger Games website that I have the link to on the side of my blog and there was a really cool post! To go directly to that post, click here and I highly encourage you to do something about this and read the whole thing!

I'll sum it up real quick though. So the Hunger Games has teamed up with Feeding America (if you don't know what that is, then it's this: Once a month people come and get food who cannot afford it otherwise and would probably go hungary if there wasn't a food drive every month because they don't have to pay for a piece of it!). Anyway they call it Peeta's Bread Army! I love that name! I'll put a quote from the article here

As Peeta’s Bread Army, we will provide not only food, but also hope for those in the grip of starvation.
So anyway my church does Feeding America every month and I decided to try to help out more often! It's actually kinda fun if you get into it! One time, I had to sort a whole bunch of peppers, like over 3000 peppers, into different bags. It took forever! But when I got to hand them out them, people were so grateful for what had been done for them. If you can't picture what this looks like, picture this: 300 families waiting downstairs in my church having coffee with cookies and bars. When their number is called they go up and outside, get a cart (a volunteer pushes the cart for them so they can handle other things), and go to the food line where a whole bunch of tables have been set up with a whole bunch of food. You can take two, maybe even three, or none of the particular food item. There are volunteers behind the tables handing out food and saying hello, stuff like that. There are also volunteers called "runners" and since all the food doesn't fit on the tables at once, when we run out of a product, they are called to get more for you from the back. Then when they get through the line of food, the cart pusher pushes the cart to the person's car and helps unload the groceries! How cool is that! Also what makes it better is that the food is all donated by stores, people, and restaurants!
The picture up there, I made this basing it off the quote I put up in the forth-ish paragraph.

I hope that you look up the article and get inspired to help your community battle hunger like Peeta, me, and the rest of his army!
Tell me what you think of the plan for The Hunger Games to team with Feeding America!

Hoping that hunger in the USA and other countries can be diminished,

Dog Faux Pas

Hey everyone! I got a hint from one of my faithful viewers that I should do another Fashion Faux Pas... well this time I thought I'd do Dog Faux Pas! I hope this suits everyone! Enjoy!

This one made me laugh out loud... especially if you've read the
Harry Potter series

Hold it... that's not the Cat in the Hat!
It's the Dog in the Hat!

We're off to see the Wizard!

*breaths in creepily, breaths out creepily, repeat*

Incredible dog!

The Headless Dog Man!

Burger? Fries? Anyone?

That's the cutest butter I've ever seen! (haha Christine!)

Moose crossing!

Watch out for the Joker!

No! Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.
~Master Yoda
Can anyone explain this quote to me?
Me want cookie.

It's-a me! Mario!

The noble steed

Super Man! Fly!

Hope you've enjoyed my little fun!

PS     Did anyone have a date for Valentines day?

Another female delegate to the great Congress of Cousins!

This is NOT Eliana...
but this is a very cute baby
Hello everyone!
Long time no see eh? Well I've been really busy lately (sorry about that!) I think I mentioned before that my aunt Jess was pregnant right? Well she had her baby! Yay! And to add the cherry on top of the cake, the baby is a girl! How cool is that right! Well it's just cool to me cause I was the only girl cousin in the whole family 'till Akasha (pronounced like the tree) came along two years ago. Now I have two girl cousins even though they came along a little late. Oh well I know have two people to share my old Barbies with. Oh and I forgot to tell you the name! When my mom told me the name I was shocked! Well kinda. But they named her Eliana and I thought that was a coincidence because the girl in my story is named Ellianna... I don't know, it's somewhat similar. They live in Pennsylvania and we get to see them over Spring Break. But we aren't staying in PA the whole time.... we might be going to NEW YORK!!! Yay! I'm usually not a shopping person, but who can't resist when they're in the Big Apple! Of course my parents want to make it educational so we'll have to go see the Statue of Liberty, and Ground Zero, and Ellis Island and stuff like that but even that sounds fun.

This is NOT me, Christine, or Sea....
 but isn't she adorable!
Today was twin day for our school (it's spirit week) and I was triplets with Sea and Christine. We wore our Hundred Miler shirts from last year with black long sleeve underneath. We also wore flare jeans (did you know that those are in again now?) and tennies. Of course we did stuff with our hair too. We all put it up in high pig tails and looked sooo cute! Especially Sea. She pulls that stuff off with now problem. We did have one slight pooper though :) Cough, cough... Christine ;)

My dog Shirley really has this thing for one of our couch pillows and it's always the same one... gross. Well anyway, I have to go do homework,

Calvin vs. Hope! Two biggest rivals in Michigan!

Hello everybody! Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!! Haha. Have you ever heard of the Puppy bowl? They do those every year... I've never seen it but is is a football game with puppies!

So yesterday I got my hair cut in a really different style for me and I think it's pretty cute! After that my grandma invited me to go to a basketball game with her. They are HUGE rival colleges... like huge. I'm a fan of one (sorry to all others out there) and my team is the #1 ranked team in the whole entire nation! Yay! Plus there is a guy in my grade who is CLC (special needs) whose two sisters play on that team. His sister is the #1 player in the nation too. The other team won :( One good thing of going to the game was that we got to spin this wheel for absolutely free and we all one free food! I won soup and my grandma won pizza :P I was jealous... haha. After the game we went to the restaurant to get our food! I got Chicken Wild Rice and Mushroom soup and it was super good except for the mushrooms... and my grandma got cheese pizza and shared! I was sooooo happy. I am a pig... I know.

Anyway, tonight I'm going to my church to practice in a choir that I'm doing with one of my good friends Gemma. I like singing so I thought that this would be fun. Plus Gemma is fun to be with too!

Fumble! Fumble!
Tonight I'm gonna watch the whole super bowl just to see the commercial for the Hunger Games movie (coming out on March 23) and also to see the other funny commercials too. Have fun at all your parties or even if your just layin' low at home!

Puppy bowls and junk food,
That looks absolutely disgusting, but awesome.
